The Imperfect

Today was finally our LP 79 gathering. At 4.40pm, got a call from the printer saying that there was some cock up with our books that we supposed to give it for our LP 79. I was devastated. My gathering would be starting at 7.30pm and now is what 4.40pm, how am I going to handle this situation? Haiz...... I was given the choice to make a stand. The books were delivered at last..but imperfect :(

The previous day was the same situation too..The CD casing was not what we wanted. Luckily, we still managed to solve it after all..the end product is quite nice too...but still another imperfect :(

Despite of all the imperfect stuff we had, we still managed to make it happen.

I was shocked to see Weiye ( my enroller ) to be here, cos I didn't receive his reply after I sent out my invitation to him..He really ah...still complain to my buddy about me...of cos , he was being given one of our LP 79 book.

This gathering to some of us was like pregnancy. We had miscarriages in between but heng..no abortion..hahaha..At the end, the babies ( LP 79 book & CD) were out with some imperfection but still..we always love our babies no matter how imperfect they were :)

Happy Birthday Cindy

Year 2009 birthday was really an unforgettable one...Is a meaningful and filled with a lot of feelings...

Saturday night , had our Vertical Marathon @ Mount Faber..When the clock striked 12am which was my birthday, some of my LP 79 course mates and my buddy celebrated with me at the peak of Mount Faber. Nice view and nice people around me..I felt very touched and happy :)

Sunday, actual day of my birthday, spent the morning and afternoon at home and rest....Late afternoon, went to AW for a briefing for the last blast of fire that we should have for my last week of LP 79 journey...attended LP 81 rally..then to Wei Jie's baby girl 1st mth shower...after that went for my SGM...

This is one of the best SGM I had since the start of LP 79 journey...I did something that in my life I never do before..all I want to say from my bottom of my heart is "Thank you Buddy"

I really love the people in LP 79. Thank you for the wonderful birthday that you all gave me! =)

Enchanted Wonderland

I had my LP 79 WOW day on the 31st of Jan 2009 - Enchanted Wonderland @ Punggol Marina

It was spectacular and magnificent. After all the sweat, frustration, worries, tiredness, and the midnight oil that we burnt etc..we finally see our WOW day happened and it was really a day when we tears to happiness =)

The day started early for my event team members and me. We were there to make sure things and rides were in placed and last min check ..When the time was approaching at 3pm, and the first bus of the beneficiary home reached and we were all excited about it and our journey of making a difference to them started...........

The smiles on the children's face really melted us and all of us had enjoyed the day with them. Children are fun and innocent that they made us forgot our troubles, sadness, anger etc...I was back to my childhood time , but just that now really don't have the energy to run up and down and repeat the big "Olympic" inflatable for 5 times...hahaha..We had our finale at around 8plus and we sent off our last bus of beneficiary at around 9plus..It was an unforgettable day for LP 79 and all the people who were present in the "Enchanted Wonderland" =)

WE MADE IT , LP 79! WE HAD MADE A DIFFERENCE ON OUR 79TH WOW DAY!
