Where am I now?

A old man came saw 3 men working and they were all doing the same work which was laying bricks.

The old man went up to the 1st guy and ask him : "Sir , what are you doing?" The 1st guy replied : " Can't you see , I am laying bricks."

The old man went up to the 2nd guy and ask him the same question : " Sir , what are you doing ?" The 2nd guy replied :" I am building a wall."

Once again, the old man went up to the 3rd guy : " Sir, what are you doing ?" The 3rd guy replied : " I am building a church."

Everyone might be doing the same work in and out everyday but the vision behind each individual will dictate ones action and push him forward everyday.

For the 1st guy, he just lay his bricks, the 2nd guy aimed to build a wall and the 3rd guy wanted to build a church at the end of the day. 3 guys doing the same stuff but the answers given by them were all different. The difference was the Vision that they had at the back of their mind. Who would not give up if meet difficulties while laying the bricks? You and I know the answer very well...Is the 3rd guy.

The reason for that not only he can see where he is going but he also knew where he is now . He can only build his church by laying his bricks first...step by step to build his dream church.

We always see only our end destination. But question is where are we now ? If we don't even know where are we now, how are we going to head ourselves towards the end destination even if we have the map and compass.

SHAPE run 09.

19th of July was here...It was SHAPE run 2009.

Woke up at 6am to get ready for the run. Reached Millenia Walk at about 6.30am by cab..too lazy to take bus cos I was still in my dreamland..lol

This was the first time I had took the initiative to sign up for some running thingy and was the furthest distance I had ever run. I must be crazy to sign up as I hate running since young..hahaha..but don't know why I had actually sign up and get my LP 79 friends to run with me too. CRAZY liao....

I did not train at all for this run...Too tired and lazy to train :P
Therefore was a bit worried I could not complete the run.So when I was at the starting point I told myself my goal for today's race was to complete it. Once it flagged off at around 7.45am, I just kept running in my comfort pace so that I could maintained it for the 5km. The weather was nice and with some music, it somehow do keep me running on..

My handphone was a MP3 for me..I had selected some songs for the run...initially was playing some slow songs, then I found that it was not tat motivating ..so decide to change to some fast songs...At the end, I had chosen "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry and this one and only song had accompany me at least for 3km :)

During half way, I had blister and somehow do feel like giving up and walked back, then I told myself that never mind..I should not give up so fast and just kept running...I did walk here and there but at the end I had managed to finish running within 45mins. YEAH!!!!

The willingness to do running was supposed had built up during my LP 79 journey. I had a bitchy buddy . VERDY YONG , who kept asking me to run even at midnight lor...my 1st 5km was "trained" by him too...hahaha...I would never forget it as it was a torture at that time...lol.

I was happy and proud of myself that I could complete the run and the best part it was within the timing I had set for myself. I must praise myself for that.

The Imperfect

Today was finally our LP 79 gathering. At 4.40pm, got a call from the printer saying that there was some cock up with our books that we supposed to give it for our LP 79. I was devastated. My gathering would be starting at 7.30pm and now is what 4.40pm, how am I going to handle this situation? Haiz...... I was given the choice to make a stand. The books were delivered at last..but imperfect :(

The previous day was the same situation too..The CD casing was not what we wanted. Luckily, we still managed to solve it after all..the end product is quite nice too...but still another imperfect :(

Despite of all the imperfect stuff we had, we still managed to make it happen.

I was shocked to see Weiye ( my enroller ) to be here, cos I didn't receive his reply after I sent out my invitation to him..He really ah...still complain to my buddy about me...of cos , he was being given one of our LP 79 book.

This gathering to some of us was like pregnancy. We had miscarriages in between but heng..no abortion..hahaha..At the end, the babies ( LP 79 book & CD) were out with some imperfection but still..we always love our babies no matter how imperfect they were :)

My weekend

Guess what ? I am now at my friend's house surfing the net and writing this blog. What are they doing leh? They were playing mahjong as usual since afternoon. I should really said that mahjong is no longer their hobby but really is their passion. They built up the relationship through mahjong, laughed together and make fun of one another. They are really a bunch of funny guys.

If there is really a mahjong marathon, I will nominate two of the power kids to go. They are James and Patrick. They can really play throughout and without the shag face...hahahah..if they put in this effort in work, they will be high flyer wor..James and Patrick, pls put your mahjong passion into your work too and you can become high flyer too ! Gambatte ne!

Finally, most of the LP thingys had been settled. Now is to wait for Thursday to come and I should be able to see my LP 79 friends. Pls pray hard for me that the gathering is successful. A few people effort are in there , trying to make it a success. Really looking forward to Thur as this is the 1st gathering ever since we graduated. I really need to appreciate Anson for his effort as I had been rushing him in and out to make certain things happen to me.

What am i avoiding?

A few things had changed and happend over the weeks..new friends , new life, new "mahjong breakthrough" for me...hahahaa..15 hrs ya..shag but fun cos I got to know a bunch of crazy guys and I also don't know why they like to make fun of me while playing mahjong.. Whatever I said , they will laughed at it..Hello, I am not a joker leh :P

I enjoyed being with them..

I am not avoiding certain people or certain thing..just that I don't feel the openess .. I understand everyone got their own life, maybe the culture was not not there first place. But nevertheless...I still love them as they taught me a lot of things..we are better off being friends as we only know how to play hard together.
